The capture of/ these new outposts in a U.S. chain of South Pacific bases was made by American Army, Navy and Marine Forces./ Picture shows:- Camouflaged Marine Raiders approach their objective - one of the palm-fringed tropical Russell/ Islands. Their orders are to drive the Japanese from this key Pacific outpost, and they are prepared to do the job/ in typical Marine fashion.
