sul supporto primario, verso: BRITISH OFFICIAL PHOTOGRAPH (S.E.ASIA) No S.E.5242 (WPL)/ CROWN COPYRIGHT RESERVED./ THE GOVERNOR OF BURMA RETURNS TO RANGOON./ His Excellency the Governor of Burma, Sir Reginald Dorman-Smith/ accompagnied by Lady Dorman-Smith, arrived at Rangoon on 16/ October 1945. On landing they weremmet by Lieutenant General/ Sir Montagu Stopford, Air Marshal Sir Hugh Saunders,/ captain H.J. Murphy, R.N..N.O.I.C. Rangoon, and Mr T.L. Hughes/ CBE,ICS, (Retd.)/ AT the Cathedral, Sir Reginald and Lady Dorman-Smith were met/ by the Rt Rev The Lord Bishop of Rangoon and the rev.D.Moxon.MC,/ On arrival at Government House the Governor inspected the Huard/ of Honour which inclueded personnel of the R.A.F. Regiment and the/ Burma Ropyal Naval Volunteer Reserve. A 17 gun salute was fored/ from the grounds by the 27th Field Regiment R.A.
